Welcome Karen Content, Our Newest Board Member
We are delighted to welcome Karen Content as the newest member of our Board. Karen brings a deep commitment to housing access, community connection, and helping people navigate important resources with clarity and compassion.
Karen works at New Hampshire Housing in Bedford, New Hampshire, where she serves as a Rental Assistant. In this role, she manages applications for Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers and helps qualify individuals for a range of voucher programs. Her work includes a special focus on Foster Youth Independence vouchers, supporting young adults ages 18 to 24 who have left or will soon leave foster care and are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless.
Through her professional work and volunteer service, Karen has developed a gift for translating complex housing program details into clear, approachable choices for people exploring their options. Her experience, insight, and heart for service will be a meaningful addition to the Board’s work.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys attending musical concerts across genres including R&B, soul, rock, blues rock, and jazz. She also treasures time with her family, especially mother-son dates with her two adult sons and son-in-law.
